Rarely do we find [individuals] who willingly engage in hard, solid thinking. There is an almost universal quest for easy answers and half-baked solutions. Nothing pains some people more than having to think.
— Martin Luther King Jr.

Now in our ninth year of ground-level work, we’ve found that experience, immersion-rooted knowledge, and an understanding of systematic forces, allows for good reasoning toward our work with the most marginalized youth in this city. We do not pretend to offer solutions towards fixing the current state of affairs for all things socially unjust. We do however, wake up every day, and make a promise to work with passion, conviction, instincts, and stubbornness toward our purpose of long-term, unwavering, commitment to the youth we serve. Outreach is a craft, and as such, we constantly seek to improve; to evolve; to be relevant. Our youth deserve this.
